{about me}

{hello}...I'm kierste!
I’m a busy stay-at-home mom to five kids, including two sets of twins, and they are the inspiration for most of my projects. I love creating, crafting, and making our home an organized, beautiful,
and fun place to be.

I love to create! I'm all about creating and decorating on a budget, and making old things new again. I gravitate towards wood, tile, and other building supplies, and love fashioning home decor out of them. I believe in creating projects that anyone can do--simple touches make the biggest difference in any home.

Some of my favorite things:

*Running: Ran my first marathon this year, and I'm training for 3 half marathons in 3 months--in the winter!

*Sports of any kind, but especially volleyball--I play once a a week and on a league.

*Reading: My goal is to read 75 books this year!

*Music: I've played the piano since I was 4 years old, and love it! I also teach piano lessons, and love being able to share my love of music with my students & children.

*Treats:  Anything lemon, milk chocolate, Red Vines, English Toffee

.....

I'm so glad you stopped by...see you soon!

My daughter Tina introduced me to your blog today and I have been enjoying it ever since! What wonderful things you have posted for me to drool over and what amazing thoughts and ideas are rolling around in my head now! Thank you both for taking the time to put such terrific eye candy up for all of us to appreciate. I can't wait to go home and start some sort of project…

  2. Love your blog…. love your projects! Will have to give a few of them a go!!

  3. I'm a twin mom too, although just the one set so far. :) Thanks for this great blog!

  4. Can I just say WOW!? I just spent 10-15 minutes on your blog, browsing through all your projects. They are so similar to some of the project I WANT to do but you actually do it – and with multiple kids! How do you do it?!? I am so keeping this website as a favorite so I can get my butt into gear on future projects. I think my favorite is the one for the quiet book made out of plastic name tag sleeves. Such a great idea. Numbers, letters, and colors would be great for it. Thanks for all the inspiration!!!

I love your blog (have loved it for about a month now). I sent your latest food post to a friend and SHE tells me "this lady does all this with TWO sets of twins?!"

    I can't believe I didn't notice that before because I have 21-month-old boy/ girl twins.

Anyway, love your blog and esp how organised it is – drool :)

  9. Hi! Ijust found your blog… cute stuff! Thanks for sharing all of the great ideas. I especially wanted to say hello since I also have 5 children and 2 sets of twins myself! It tends to be an exclusive club so I'm always happy to meet another member! ha! My babes are a little closer together though, 5, 4 and 2 1/2. (at the birth of my last 2 we had 5 kids ages 3 and under!!) Crazy- I know!
Well, nice to "meet" you and happy crafting!

  10. I found your blog through StumbleUpon. I have twins & triplets: 2 boys age 20 and 2 boys, 1 girl age 14. We just painted my daughter's room. We're picking out pictures of her & her friends to frame & hang. I'm going to suggest we try the Mod Podge letters. Who knows, at 14 she may think it's a great idea…or not. You never know!
Can't wait to follow along with your projects.
