My little 4 year old was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, which means she has a gluten intolerance, and can’t eat wheat, rye, or barley. Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for yummy gluten-free treats that the whole family will enjoy.

I struck gold a few days ago, when I came across a recipe from Chex. Amazingly, all of Chex cereals (except Wheat Chex) don’t contain gluten, which is exciting for me.

After making these fabulous treats, (and consuming them in a very short period of time), I had to pass along this recipe to you. They are SO SO yummy! You don’t have to have any dietary restrictions to enjoy these—they are delicious for everyone!

We will definitely be making these again. Oh, and instead of using M&Ms, I’m going to try adding Reeses Pieces instead, for a fun fall treat. I’m thinking preschool snack…

Enjoy!

  1. Thnks for sharing that! My kids don't have it but I'm sure I might come across someone who does so it'll be good to have it to share! & if I find any others, I'll try to remember to pass them to you. =0)

  2. My sisters kids have celiac also. Have you ever heard of the peanut butter cookies made from 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, and 1 egg? They are pretty good and so quick and easy!

  3. I've never tried these with chocolate Chex (sound yummy), but the honey nut Chex make these treats so tasty. My sister-in-law has Celiac's, so I keep my eyes open for recipes for her.

  4. Hi – I'm participating in the paper tower giveaway and thought I'd stop by. These look delicious. Will def try!! =D

  5. I'm going to pass that on to my daughter–her boyfriend has celiacs and I'm sure she'd like to make him a treat ; )

  6. Thanks for sharing this! I have a friend that comes over for dinner with this same issue. Now I will have a new dessert to make for her when she is over!!
