I really wanted something I could take off and place inside my Christmas binder, so when I a clipboard I found at the dollar store, I thought it would be perfect. If you wanted a book dedicated specially to guests, to add to each year, I think covering a composition book in cute paper would be darling.
Christmas Guest List
ITEMS YOU NEED:
- scrapbook paper
- card stock
- printed list
- distress ink
- double stick tape
1. Cover your clipboard in paper. I traced the clipboard onto scrapbook paper, then cut it out. I marked where the clip was, then cut that out. There was a little area on the top that needed to be filled in, so I cut a piece that matched it exactly, and slid it under the clip.
2. Create and print your guest list on to card stock. Mat it onto coordinating card stock. Distress everything. Now the plan was originally to clip it on to the board, but I made it a little too small and it looked funny. If I were to do it over again, I would make the list a little bigger, so I could clip it on. Next year. :) So instead, I just taped it on to the paper–with just a little tape, so it would come off easily.
3. Tie ribbon on to the clip, and you’re ready to go!
