Hi there! Michelle here, from A Little TipsyI am so excited to be visiting for such a fun series based on one of our favorite songs on one of my favorite blogs!

We are a Disney loving family and are so excited to be able to visit the new Cars Land in the fall. In the meantime, we made a little Cars fun of our own.

This idea was actually inspired by my son’s fantastic preschool teacher. While learning about the letter R, she sent them each home with a racecar of their own. A box with the edges folded in, spray painted and decorated with paper wheels, headlights and a license plate with their name on it.

Once home, my son insisted that we personalize it to look like Lightning McQueen complete with windshield eyes, toothy grin, and a spoiler. He cut and colored all the pieces himself and was so proud of his upgrades.

It could easily be painted blue for Sally or Finn McMissile or brown with a shoebox added for Mater.

The best part is all they have to do is climb in and let their imagination do the rest! Line up a group for a race or set them in front of the TV for a drive in movie, you decide.
Thanks again to Kierste for having us over and feel free to make a pit stop at our place any time!
…..
My goodness, my boys would GO crazy about this!  They are currently obsessed with anything to do with Cars of Lightning McQueen, so I can definitely see this in our future!  Thanks so much, Michelle, for sharing such a fun activity!
