Hello! I’m Becky, one of the 5 Crafting Chicks. I’m so excited to be guest posting today on Brown Paper Packages!

Hopefully you have seen our site, but if not, stop by, say “hi”, and see what we are working on. :) I sure hope you are all having a fun, busy summer. I know our house has been crazy with fun trips and knocking off a lot of our summer fun list. Today I wanted to share some of the fun ideas for some last minute summer fun. How about throwing a neighborhood Movie Night? Kirsten has some fun ideas of things you’ll find at a dollar store. She also has these fun free printables too.

Or you could have your kids brush up on some skills and give them merit badges like Nikkala did.

Get your kids back to writing by making them some summer journals like Brooke did for her kids. You could even let your kids decorate the journals.

Or make these fun dlike Jamie did. It’s a great way to get your kids using their cutting skills to prepare them for school.

When all else fails make a fun yummy treat, like my Jell-o Popsicles. These are a hit around my house.

We sure hope your summer is great and full of wonderful memories. Hopefully you can find some inspiration from us on how to make this summer a super great one! — The Crafting Chicks
