Hi! I'm Ginger, & I blog over at Ginger Snap Crafts. It's a fun place where I share my easy, simple & cute crafty ideas, projects & recipes. I also have an amazing husband & 5 wild & crazy kiddos! I'm always busy doing something!
It is so fun to be over here with Kierste & YOU. I am so excited for Kierste & her family! Best of luck with the new baby! My youngest will be four this summer! I can't believe it! (I need to update our family picture. ha!) So no more babies at our house! :( Buuuut lucky for me I am the oldest of 6 sisters ~ so we still have lots of babies in the family!
One of my sister's just had a little baby boy ~ Owen! (Check out the diaper cake I made him.) He is adorable! They live in Texas (out in the country), & his daddy loves tractors! So I decided to make Owen his own tractor blanket. This blanket is so, so easy to make! I don't sew much....so if I can make this YOU can, too!
Hello everyone! My name is Cindy Hopper and I blog at Skip to my Lou. I love making home made gifts and nothing is sweeter than a home made baby gift! You might enjoy browsing through my Home Made Gift Guide!
This cute little onesie is a super quick and simple baby gift that you can whip up in no time.
Hello! It's Jennifer, Jamie and Jodie from eighteen25 here today. We are so excited for Kierste and her family as they welcome a new baby girl into their family. It's always such a special time to have a sweet newborn to snuggle and kiss on.
Today we want to share with you a Mini Baby Album. We've taken a miniature version of our Baby Subway Art and turned it into an adorable accordion album that will make a special keepsake for all those sweet smelling babies in your life.
Aaaaaaahhhh! I can hardly believe that tomorrow is the big day, and I will finally have this sweet baby girl to hold! Our whole family is so excited, and my cute kiddos have been asking me for weeks when she is going to be here. Now I can finally say it's time! Am I the only that loves this last part of pregnancy, and the excitement of the hospital? I just love it, and since this is our last baby, I'm soaking up every single moment. With our history of infertility, she really is a miracle baby, and the best surprise ever!!!
Here I am at 37 weeks...
When I saw this idea to mail Easter eggs, I immediately fell in love with it, and REALLY wanted to try it. I have to admit though, I was kind of skeptical. I mean, how often do you see Easter eggs go through the mail? I knew my kids would L.O.V.E to get them--they are always asking if there is anything in the mailbox for them, so how exciting to not only get something with their name on it, but something SUPER fun! So...I decided to put it to the test. SO glad I did--it worked!!! :)
I would like to introduce you to a new favorite...Skinny Raspberry & White Chocolate Muffins! Not only are they absolutely divine, they are SKINNY! Although, I guess they're no longer skinny when you eat four of them, lol. I tell you, these are SO good!
With 9 days to go before my baby arrives, I'm trying to get everything in order for Easter. Some things we'll still do Easter weekend, and others we're doing just a bit earlier, to make sure we won't miss them due to all the excitement headed our way next week!
Tonight we're coloring eggs for Family Night, and the eggs are boiling away on the stove. It's one of my favorite Easter activities to do with my kids, and they always love it. I'm kind of a low maintenance girl when it comes to dyeing Easter eggs. I love doing things that are easy, don't require a lot of supplies, but are creative and fun. I've seen some fabulous ideas out there--beautiful and intricate and lovely--but those are ones that I'll save for myself to do! Simple is still my favorite way to go, especially when it comes to kids. I've collected some really great ideas that I've come across and loved--that are either specifically for kids, or are easily adapted to be so. Most of them require few supplies but lots of creativity...PERFECT!
I really wanted something fun to give visitors at the hospital and at home when I had the baby--something small & simple, and with her name on it. We've all seen Hershey Kiss printables for every season & holiday, and I've always loved them, so I thought designing one as a tiny baby announcement would be PERFECT!
The words "spring cleaning" might strike fear deep into your heart, but I'm here to tell you that it is totally doable, and that you will love the difference it makes in your home. As soon as March hits, I start thinking about spring cleaning. I like to take a couple of months (March & April) to get it all done, rather than all it once--otherwise it just seems to overwhelming, or I kill myself (and my family, lol) in a week to finish. I've learned a lot about what works for me, and I'm going to share my tips with you.
Yesterday I promised that I would post about the Silhouette project I was working on, and I'm excited to share it. You all know that I'm about simple details that can totally change the look of a project. Well, today is a perfect example of that! I purchased some plain white burp cloths, and wanted to "fancy them up" a little. Using my Silhouette and sewing machine, and about an hour of time, I ended up with adorable ruffled burp rags!
