Aren't they adorable? They have been a favorite of our for many years, and we love to have them as snacks, or even for lunch. They take just a minute to put together, and the result is definitely worth the effort. Let your kids help out them together...they'll love it!
These are perfect for taking to classrooms during the Halloween season--they're always a hit with kids. If there is a peanut allergy concern, you can substitute the peanut butter with cream cheese, or even chocolate frosting.
-Ritz crackers (2 per spider)
-Peanut Butter (cream cheese or chocolate frosting in case of allergy)
-Raisins (2 per spider)
-Pretzel Sticks (6 per spider)
1. Spread peanut butter on the bottom of one of the crackers, then place the pretzel sticks in the peanut butter--3 on each side--for the legs. Yes, I do know that spiders have 8 legs, but it's harder to fit that many pretzels on there, so I just stuck with 6.
2. Spread peanut butter on the bottom of the second cracker, them place it on top of the pretzels.
3. Add two little dots of peanut butter on the top, near the edge, and stick a raisin in the middle of each dot for the eyes.
That's it!! Now you have cutey cute spider crackers!
