Fall is right around the corner, I can almost smell it. Seriously–I’m itching for the crisp mornings, fall leaves, visits to the cider mill and pumpkin patch, cozy sweaters, evening fires–I could probably go on and on. I’m also one of those girls that gets up fall decorations right on September 1st, because I like to eek out every last minute of fall. Wreaths are an easy way to add decor to your home, and this darling Twine & Berry Fall Wreath is so simple to make!
I LOVE it, and it will be perfect on a front door, in an entry way, on an mantel, or wherever you like! You can find berry garland at Hobby Lobby, JoAnn’s, Michael’s, along with all of the other supplies too. It’s a quick project that you can do in less than an hour! The best kind, right? :)
I started out with a twine wreath I already had—it’s simply a styrofoam wreath that I wrapped twine/jute around it and secured with a small knot on the back side. No need for hot glue—you can wrap it tight enough it won’t come undone. I made mine four years ago, and it looks as good as new!
When the garland was wrapped all the way around, I was left with the two loops at each end. (see #3) I looped my brown ticking through those loops, both securing the garland and the fabric at the same time!
You could also use a red berry garland for Christmas or Valentine’s Day, and even switch out the fabric or ribbon to change it up for any holiday. Aren’t versatile projects the best? Since the garland isn’t glued on, it makes it super easy to change it. And it’s totally adorable. Can’t beat that!
