Who loves fudge??? ME!!! I’ve always loved it, even in my crazy not-loving-chocolate years (I have NO idea what I was thinking!). Cooking fudge can be a little finicky though, and so I especially love this recipe that came from my grandmother. It’s a super easy and super delicious no-cook fudge, and I dare say no-fail too!
You can whip up a batch of this yummy fudge in less than five minutes, and then pop it into the fridge for about an hour to firm. Then you’re ready to serve it to guests, or wrap it up to give it away…or just eat it. :)
It is seriously so easy! It’s a mixture of all the yummiest things: cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, and a little bit of vanilla! I’ve found it’s way easier to use my hands and really get in there to mix all the ingredients together and form it into a ball. Once that’s done, it’s easy to roll up onto plastic wrap, and let firm in the fridge. Or, you can place plastic wrap or wax paper in a glass dish and press it on the bottom, then place in the fridge. Once it’s firm, you can cut it into slices or pieces.
1/2 c. butter, softened
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix all the ingredients together until a ball is formed. If adding nuts, mix everything together except the nuts, then add them at the end. Using your hands is the easiest way to get it all mixed really well!
Roll unto two rolls, each about 1 inch thick. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap. You can also place it in a glass dish that’s been lined with plastic wrap or wax paper.
Refrigerate until firm enough to cut into slices or squares.
