Aren’t they so cute? I can’t decide which one I like better!  And floats are so, so simple and yummy!! They’re perfect for any kind of Halloween party or gathering, and if you’re serving a crowd, they’re pretty cost-effective.

I drew on the faces with a Sharpie marker, which is partly why it’s so easy.  You could definitely cut out faces on your Silhouette if you prefer, but I decided not to on something that would be thrown away.  Plus, this can be done so quickly that it really cuts down on your prep time, which I’m all about.

Here’s how I put them together…

SUPPLIES:

clear plastic drinking cups

-Sharpie marker

-whipped cream

-sprinkles

-paper straws

GHOST:  vanilla ice cream and Sprite

JACK-O-LANTERN:  orange sherbet and Sprite OR vanilla ice cream and orange soda

DIRECTIONS:

Use a Sharpie to draw ghost and pumpkin faces on the outside of your cup, then fill them accordingly depending on what kind of spooky float you’re making.

For the ghost, I used vanilla ice cream and Sprite, and the jack-o-lantern is orange sherbet and Sprite.  I love orange sherbet, and I think the orange stands out more, so that’s why I always use it, but you could also do vanilla ice cream and orange soda if you prefer.

I like to top them with whipped cream, and then green sprinkles for the pumpkin and Halloween sprinkles on the ghost.  Pop in a cute striped straw, and you’re ready to go!
