Bunny Bait Trail Mix

When the holidays come around, I love to do simple snacks for our own little celebration, and with Easter coming, that means it’s time for our favorite Bunny Bait Trail Mix!

BUNNY BAIT TRAIL MIX

This fun mix is perfect to munch on during any Easter gathering–as favors, in a cute bowl as an appetizer, or even as place cards. Tie it up with ribbon in clear bag or jar, and you’ve got a darling gift for a friend, neighbor or teacher.  Or…make up a bowl and watch it be eaten in less than 30 minutes! It’s also a great preschool snack!

It calls for just a few simple ingredients, and it literally is the fastest thing ever to make. We love peanut butter and pretzels together, so I used:

*a bag of Reese’s Pieces eggs
*pretzels
*mini marshmallows
*honey roasted peanuts

You could also add raisins, but I don’t like them, so I didn’t.  :) Craisins, yogurt-covered raisins or pretzels, chocolate M&M’s, sunflower seeds…you can really add whatever you like best, or leave out what doesn’t work.  I didn’t measure anything–just added as much or as little of each ingredient as I wanted.  That’s the beauty of it–there is no right way to do this, and you can make it to your own liking.  *I would leave out peanuts if you’re taking it to a school, or to anyone or any place that you’re not positive about a peanut allergy.

Easy peasy.
