Mother’s Day Gift Jar
Moms deserved to be pampered, for sure, and with Mother’s Day around the corner, I thought I’d create a super fun Mother’s Day Gift Jar that’s perfect for all the moms in your life–family, friends, teachers, and more!
I love any kind of gift in a jar, and it’s perfect for packaging up several small gifts. The best part about it is that it’s 100% customizable, so you can fill the jar with items that match the mama you’re shopping for!

I used a full-size, wide-mouth mason jar, and decided to go with a pink/gold/polka dot theme. Â It was so fun to pick everything out! Â This is what I put inside (or similar):
-cute soap
-post it notes
–Burt’s Bees pink grapefruit lip balm
They’re small and simple items, but they’re perfect for a little Mother’s Day spoiling!
Once the jar was filled, I printed the cute tag I created on to kraft cardstock, then tied it on with baker’s twine. Â Easy and adorable, just my style!
If you’d like to download the tag, just click on the link below!

Hi Kierste, these were adorable. I love making “be good to yourself” baskets for gifts, raffle items, and the church bazaar. One of my favorite places to look is Michael’s in the clearance stuff; often times their stuff is coordinated. If you look at my checkbook, you’d think my 3 best friends are Joanne, Michael, and AC! I have learned to make simple soaps (love those 40% off c/o for supplies!), candles, sachets, sugar scrubs, Epsom bath salts, meltable tarts, rubber stamped cards, etc. that flesh out the “storeboughts”. I embellish commercial potpourri with homegrown petals and more essential oil. And you can NEVER go wrong with a judicious dose of CHOCOLATE! Just got a stash of 90% off Easter grass at Walgreen’s to use for filler and some non Easter looking baskets, too. I get small garden tools, flower pots, work gloves, rain gauges, etc. at the end of the summer for a gardener’s basket and add new seed packets in the spring. For the church bazaar, I do theme baskets with snowmen, Santa, pointsettias, gingerbread men, etc. Like you said, you can customize these for each person/occasion. I love shopping AFTER a holiday for bargains
The Easter picture of your kids was awesome. Makes you understand the phrase “your heart bursting with pride.”
I love the idea of a “be good to yourself” basket–so fun!! I love all of your ideas for things to fill it with. Those are lucky people getting those baskets! :)
