My absolute favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is definitely the pie. I love so many different kinds, and always want to have a taste of every single one, so I thought it would be fun to make mini versions...little bites that let you sample and try more than one. Or two. Or possibly three. These No-Bake Mini Pumpkin Cream Pies are impossibly easy and adorable!
Last week we spent the day with friends at one of our favorite beaches. Of course we all brought snacks, because that's just what one does when at the beach, right? One of my darling friends brought the yummiest pretzels ever...crispy, crunchy, buttery, with a hint of garlic...I could not stop eating them! I'll just tell you now I that was hooked after the first bite. I got the recipe from her very soon after we got home, and I knew I had to try them right away. My kids and husband adore them too, and I've already had requests to put them in their school lunch--and school doesn't even start for another seven weeks! These easy seasoned glazed pretzels are so delicious, I knew I needed to share them with you!
We are a football family! Even though our team isn't playing in the Super Bowl this year (although they do have the most Super Bowl wins...GO Steelers!), we're still excited. The Super Bowl is also synonymous with food. Lots of yummy food. I want to try a few new game day recipes this year, so I scoured the web for ideas--specifically ones that would be fast, easy, and of course contain cheese or chocolate. :) I rounded them up to share with you, plus a couple that I already know and love.
Rice Krispie treats are pretty much beloved at our house. They are requested quite often, and I like to do something a little different from time to time. One of our favorites is Double Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats, and it just takes once to fall in love with them! The creaminess of the peanut butter combined with the chewiness of the Rice Krispie treat is a match made in heaven!
