Did you know there is a super easy way to make and adorable mason jar soap pump? I've made them in the past using vintage jars and soap pumps cut from plastic soap dispensers, and I love them still, but this way is just SO easy. You can use a plain jar, which is always a classic choice, but I thought a fun black & white striped version would be perfect for Halloween!
I love love LOVE it! Isn't it too adorable? Stripes are another one of my obsessions, so it was an easy choice. How cute would this be, sitting on your kitchen counter or next to your bathroom sink? I know!
Summer is almost here, and yummy, cold drinks are perfect to beat the heat. Sweet Lemon Water is one of my favorites, and my go-to drink to serve at any BBQ, party, or gathering. It's incredibly simple to put together, refreshingly light, and absolutely delicious!
Quite simply, the print & cut feature is one of the BEST features of the Silhouette. It's also one of my personal favorites. ☺ There are so many different products to go with this feature---adhesive cardstock, sticker paper, printable gold and silver foil, and so much more. Yesterday I shared my super cute new mason jar spice labels using the print & cut feature, and it made it SO easy.
When you use the Silhouette print & cut feature, you print designs with or without text from your computer that you've designed with the Silhouette software, then you put them through your Silhouette on a cutting mat, and voila!! It cuts around the outside shape, leaving the printed design and text. You can check out these FAQ's or watch this helpful video for more info!

Oh, how I love an organized drawer!! My spice drawer has been making me crazy lately. They were all in there neatly, but the different sizes and round shape made everything roll around and cause chaos. ☺ I decided that this week was time for a long and overdue makeover, and of course I turned to one of my favorite things to help me out...mason jars! They are the perfect size to fit in the drawer, and with the cute labels on top, it's super easy to find which spice I'm looking for. I love these Mason Jar Spice Containers!
In addition to the in-store Michael's Pinterest party last weekend (and it was SO fun), I threw a Pinterest Party at my house this week for some of my friends, and we had a FABULOUS time! I love the idea of getting together with friends for a party to create some of the things that you see on Pinterest...to not just pin, but make it! I, of course, am a huge advocate for DIY projects, so this is exciting to me. Plus...it's so much more fun to craft and create with friends! For my party, I went with a DIY gift theme, and decided on one of my favorite gifts to give, with a Christmas spin...a Christmas Mason Jar Gift Set!

I'm a big believer in thank you notes. And thank you treats. ☺
This technologically savvy world we live in has provided us with super fast ways to communicate, including text and e-mail, but when it comes to saying thank you, nothing beats a hand-written thank you note. I'm talking about a good, old fashioned, lick the envelope, put a stamp on the front and drop it in the mailbox kind of note. Isn't it the BEST feeling when you check the mail, and find a letter addressed to you that's not junk mail or a bill? Something meant just for you?
