Red Striped Christmas Mason Jar Gift Ideas

I adore striped mason jars, and since red is my favorite color, I’m especially excited about this Red Striped Christmas Mason Jar Gift Idea for Christmas. I made it into both a gift jar filled with candy, and then a darling soap dispenser. The same striped jar, and two super cute gifts!

I filled it with Christmas candy (I used the peppermint Hershey kisses because I loved the red and white with this jar!), added a cute tag, and I had a darling gift jar ready to give! You could also use the large mason jars and use them as centerpieces for a holiday party.

I took another jar and added the soap dispenser, and I love it!  It’s festive and perfect for the holiday season, and so cute on a kitchen or bathroom sink.  If you’re looking for cute ideas for hostess, teacher, neighbor, colleague, friend gifts…these are fun for anyone!

  1. This is simply adorable!!!! I especially love the cherry red paint! What paint color is the red? I have a hard time finding a true cherry red paint. ? Thanks!!!!

    1. Thank you so much! And I’m totally with you on the red paint–I’m so picky about colors, and a true cherry red is tricky to find. I still don’t think I’ve found the perfect one, but I do like this one a lot. It’s Americana’s Primary Red. It will not look like a true red when you’re painting it on, but it dries a lot darker. Then when you seal it with a mate spray, it changes even more. Another color I like a lot is Tompte Red by Delta. It dries into a really nice red as well!

  2. You don’t mention anything on where you get the dispenser spout!!! Or did you buy the cover with it as part the entire jar???

    1. Hello! I actually link to another post that has a similar soap jar, and the info is mentioned there. But, I can tell you here that you can buy the soap dispenser top (ring and spout) at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and I think Joann Fabrics too!! Walmart may even carry it as well.

  3. I love this idea, but when I painted the jar a second coat, It kept pulling the first coat off. I waited overnight, so it was completely dry. Any suggestions?
