I just love Bumbos, especially with the tray. I can’t tell you how much I used them with my babies, from before they could sit up on their own (but could hold their heads up really well), and after. They would sit in them to play, to get some alert time off of the floor and their back, and even to eat their first bites of food. They’re small enough to be portable, so they were easy to take to other people’s homes or on the road. My babies loved them, and I loved them!
My twins are 26 years old now. It’s amazing how many great things they have come up with since my kids were little! Now I am planning a baby shower for a friend with preemie twins. Thanks for great ideas for her. My favorite toy (when the kids were toddlers) was a red Flexible Flyer teeter totter. 2 or 3 kids could rock on it at once. Everyone was happy at the same time!
That flexible flyer teeter totter sounds awesome! I wish I could find it now!!!
Hello my name is Kim I’m a mom of girl and boy twins my favorite thing to use was a twin stroller but the seats faced each other so my baby’s could always see each other and play I don’t see strollers like that anymore and that’s sad because it keeps the little ones occupied I use to call mine the twin Limo I’d say who wants to go in the limo and my baby’s would get so excited well now my twins are 30yrs old but we had so many fun times taking the limo to the park
Hello, fellow twin mom! :) I don’t think I’ve ever seen a stroller like that, but it sounds awesome!! xoxo
Great post! One of my friends is expecting twins!!!

So exciting!!! I’m thrilled for her…it’s a wonderful journey!! xoxo
I love our Maclaren. It fits through standard doors and folds up really compact so it doesn’t take a ton of room in the trunk. My twins are two now and its probably been our most used baby item.
I also second the Boppy. I tried one of the double nursing pillows with my twins and the thing is ridiculosly huge. Plus my twin boys were always trying to touch and bug each other when they were nursing. Which led to them jerking their heads back. Not a comfortable experience when they are lactated on trying to nurse. I just gave up and feed them separately using the Boppy. For me it was so much easier and I feel like didn’t really take much more time because they focused more when they were nursing one at a time anyway.
Yes—LOVE the Maclaren!! So glad to hear another twin mom feels the same!! xoxo
