Pop! An EASY Music Recital Gift!
I’ve been teaching piano lessons for a long time, and I absolutely love it. After I recital, I always like to give my students a little something to let them know how proud I am of them, and to congratulate them for a job well done. It’s May, and it’s the month of recitals!! My kids have piano and violin recitals coming up, and I love to give something to them as well, to recognize how hard they’ve worked. Some of mine are nervous to get on stage, so it’s also a BRAVO for being brave and doing something that’s hard. Whether you are a music teacher, or someone special in your life is a music student, this easy music recital gift is a super fun and simple way to let them know that you’re proud too! It would also be SO cute as a handout after a Primary Program.
- microwave popcorn packets (you could also use soda pop bottles instead!)
- scrapbook paper and cardstock
- distress Ink
- baker’s twine
- double stick tape
Directions:
1. Print out the tags below, cut them out to size, distress the edges with Distress Ink, and mat onto scrapbook paper.
2. Use double stick tape to attach to the top of each popcorn packet.
3. Tie baker’s twine around the outside edge.
These were a definitely a hit–they loved them! If you’re a teacher or parent looking for a fun music recital gift, look no farther. :)
