It’s official…my kids’ school is not allowing any candy Valentines this year.  They are totally and completely disappointed, but secretly I’m happy that we won’t have quite as much candy coming home.  Don’t worry about them–they will plenty of sweet treats–but I did need to come up with a non-candy valentine idea that wouldn’t break the bank.  I created these super cute bookmarks, and I love that they are the valentine and the gift, all in one!

These could not be easier–just print, cut them out, and fill in the to and from areas.  I’m going to laminate the ones we’re making (my laminator is one of my favorite things!), but that’s totally optional.  I also punched a hole in the top of each bookmark and added a bit of ribbon, but again, it’s not a must.

And no, yours won’t have the fancy streaks through them, unless you’re running out of printer ink like I was when I printed them.  :)

There are several color options to choose from, and if your boys are particular about having hearts on their valentines like mine are, I left off the heart in the middle of the arrow on a couple of them, just in case.

I’ve got your back.

Just click on the link below, then print on to white cardstock and cut! Easy peasy!

  8. Hello,
These are really nice looking but I was wondering if there is there a version that has black writing (rather than white) so I can print it on colorful paper.
