You guys!! Â I can’t believe it’s finally here–it’s been such an incredible journey over the past year and a half. Â It seems like forever ago and yesterday all at the same time that I signed a contract to write my first book, and now we’re just a couple of months away from the release date.

Simply Tradition: Â 70 Fun & Easy Holiday Ideas for Families
I wrote the book from April 2015-January 2016, and since then we’ve been working on formatting, design, layout, and editing. Â It has truly been a labor of love, and I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed all of it.
It did get a little crazy for awhile, I’m not going to lie.  Last summer was especially hard–my kids were out of school, we were living in temporary housing, I was keeping up my blog, writing this book–plus taking all the pictures and editing them.  It’s only due to my totally awesome and patient husband and wonderful kids that I made it through.  They were willing to eat cereal for dinner, celebrate Halloween in July, and spent a lot of Saturdays and evenings without me while I was at the library with my laptop and a pound of cinnamon bears to keep me company. (You think I’m joking…)
It’s a book all about one of my very favorite things…tradition. Â It’s full of ideas for family traditions for every holiday, and ways to discover your own special holiday traditions. I hope you’ll join me in my journey!!
