Thanksgiving Leftovers Printable Label

Adorable Thanksgiving leftovers printable label that’s perfect for adding to all the leftovers for your fridge, and to send home with your guests!

Thanksgiving leftovers can be almost better than the actual meal itself. There’s nothing like pulling out leftover turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing, piling it on top of a fluffy roll, and eating it with a leftover piece of pie the day after Thanksgiving. Potatoes and gravy heat up beautifully, although we don’t always many of these left over. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

Packing Up Thanksgiving Leftovers

Whether you’re packing up leftovers for your family and fridge, or to send up with guests, it’s a good idea to plan ahead. I like to have containers and labels ready to go, to make Thanksgiving cleanup that much easier and faster.

Thanksgiving Leftover Containers

I love using takeout boxes for Thanksgiving leftover containers. I usually have some in both the white and the kraft color on hand, and I use them for so many things. They’re perfect for leftovers, especially for sending home with your friends, family, and guests. You can find them at craft stores, but I usually get mine on Amazon. You can get the standard takeout box, or others that are wider rather than taller. The shape depends on what you’re sending home–some fit better in different size containers. Other options include disposable plastic containers, bakery boxes, or these compostable eco-friendly clamshell boxes.

To send home with guests, you can add a piece of ribbon, jute, or twine to the handle, or tie around the box. Takes just a second to do, but it adds a really cute touch!

If guests are heading home with multiple boxes, large brown paper bags with handles work well to stack all their boxes in.

When you’re boxing up your leftovers for your own fridge or to send home with your guests, adding these darling labels make super cute and organized leftover boxes. There’s room to add a date and even what’s inside!

TO PRINT & USE THE LABEL:

I used adhesive backed kraft card stock by Silhouette–it makes it so easy to stick the tags on, and I don’t have to worry about tape when I’m packaging everything up. I just print right on the card stock, cut out the circles with scissors, and then I’m ready to use them–just peel off the back sticker and I’m good to go! You can also use regular kraft or white cardstock (if you’re using white takeout boxes), just remember to have double stick tape on hand!

If you’re printing on regular kraft or white cardstock, use double stick tape to adhere the labels to your boxes or containers.

Click on the link below to download the tags, print, and cut! I’ve got two tags to choose from–one with with a cute pie, and the other with turkey!
